The Charity Gig

Dear Rockers Mag,

Took some time out to wish you all well! Went on a world tour that changed my outlook on clothes a bit, a bit of influence from Italy and Japan, and I have loved every minute of it! I stopped in a small club along the way to do a charity gig for my fave cause…http://www.firstbook.org/  I love this cause because life was rough growing up and books created worlds that kept me going through all the rough times.  I think all kids need an outlet whether it be for their imagination or just to have a place to escape to if reality gets too heavy.  It has been a whirlwind of travel since you heard from me, been busy performing!  Sending you some “pre show” pics of the charity gig…I often like to go out on the stage and get a feel for the room before its filled with fans…I love the quiet before the storm so to speak and then feel the change when all that energy is in the room!  Have a good Halloween!

Facing my fears

Facing my fears has not been easy, not at all…but ever since I took the first steps in 2005 I have come a long way.

When Im feeling confident, I pick clothes that display elegance, maybe something black, and chic, but when I’ve been through a very hard bumpy patch I will gravitate towards outfits that lighten my mood, bright vibrant colors, maybe I am trying to fool all of you into thinking I am in a good mood, almost as if I was painting on a happy clown face.  At the very least, I found shoes to go with the look, and that bit drove me CRAZZZZYYY let me tell you!  I was originally shown these shoes in the brit flag print by one of my besties, keripants….and i had to buy both, even though my feet look kinda like they are swimming in them.  I have 3 foils in life…bacon, brits, and nautical in that order!  I am overwhelmed by the sheer number of fashion events going on and I almost feel like im being drawn and quartered by my desire to hit all and in trying to do so missing all.  Anyhoo: Im back from the horrible trip and best of all I AM FREE!  One last quote to leave you all with: “Remember this, that very little is needed to make a happy life” ~ Marcus Aurelius

When you’re feelin’ blue dress like the sun!

For nearly a week I’ve been struggling with severe pain, and absolutely downright miserable…so to cheer myself up I put together this perky bright yellow outfit from various finds around the grid! Lets not forget this round of arcade gacha is nearly over so I am going into slight panic mode as I adore gacha! Must find my fix elsewhere oh noes!

I love that its a major fashion release weekend! Lots of goodies, from Fashion Limited, SL Fashion Week and  L’accessoires!The purse is fantastic as you can click it and change the color of the flower!

Simply Glam!

Nothing says warmer weather is here to me more than the birds coming back and seeing butterflies…flowers blooming..and the squeee feelin i get in the pit of my stomach that i can finally stop dressing for an arctic freeze!  Combine that with it’s Fridaaay and you know what THAT means! best shopping day in sl! Between Fi*fridays, 50L fridays, SL Fashion week, new releases I just end up needin a whole new home to store stuff in! Goooodness!
