Bad Wolf

I love Dr. Who almost as much as bacon….so when this tardis with poses came out I was over the moon!  Much like anything nautical, I am a sucker for anything Doctor Who related.  I haven’t had much chance to go out and go shopping lately because I have had my hands tied building and setting up the new stores in Jenner.  I am so excited about this new project that I simply am dying to show it off…but its not quite finished!  Almost done though, just a few small setbacks and now we are back on track so hopefully soon!  In the meantime both xX Second Star and Wolf&I have group gifts out both gorgeous, and everyone should honestly join their groups as they are stores to keep an eye on they look fantastic!

It can be a lonely life….sure there is a lot of travel involved but honestly I enjoy the sights I wouldn’t want to switch to something else for the world.  I would have to say knives are easily my weapon of choice, sure its messy, sure you have to get up close, but i have been able to take out several this way and slip away before anyone ever noticed that mark was dead. Recently though, I have picked up a lil tag-along

I met her in a club in Paris awhile back, and ever since I have taken her along for the ride…different city every week. She’s the perfect cover and she doesn’t even know my real name.  She is a lil firecracker and fun diversion in the downtime.  I took her to one of the countryside safe-houses while I was working out the details of my next hit. One afternoon I caught her near my weapons cache I had to put a lil fear in her to keep her away from that area.  I think she got the idea that I was serious.  I simply cant afford to have my cover blown, it would take too much time to clean up.

Fighting the darkness

Normally I don’t talk too much about RL here, because I can do that elsewhere.  Lately, however I am beginning to feel a bit crowded and out-of-place.  I don’t know where to begin so I write. Post 9-11 in the states saw an increase in racial profiling, and also racially motivated hate crimes towards Muslims out of fear, hate, and revenge.  These days I believe that tensions regarding that have ceased, however now that I have moved to Canada, I have to deal with it all over again as the new legislation they are trying to pass blatantly targets Muslims and Jews.  With this legislation trying to be passed this past week I have seen night after night reports of hate crimes on the news.  This makes me incredibly sad as I had been feeling up until this point, “YAY we are past that!”.  That is not the case and I would hope that they let this legislation go as it doesn’t do anything but stir the pot for trouble.  I promise I wont get heavy often but Id like to leave with a quote from a movie that dealt with these issues.

A little jaunt to the ocean..

I make the trip out to the coast rarely, but I felt compelled to visit, the pull to feel the fall salt air on my face was too powerful.  I could have gone to any number of spots along the coast, but this time I chose to go to the place that had the boardwalk that went far out to an island.  It was delightful to feel the light spray on my face from time to time as I walked along the weathered planks.

I spent some time feeling the cold, damp walls of the cave on the island.  The rocky floor of the cave was a bit hard to traverse, but I managed to find some beautiful shells I decided to keep as a souvenir and reminder of my visit here.  At one point even though it was a bit damp, I leaned against the wall and closed my eyes and just let the motion of the waves dictate my breathing.  It was quite something feeling like i was making the water move with my breaths…surely you all have at one point faked waving your arm to open automatic doors…it was like that.

Of course the last thing I had to mention was this cute artisan stand I stopped at on the way…where i found these fall leave necklace to match my outfit.  They called themselves Collabor88, and the maker was Maxi Gossamer…they still have some you should definitely go pick up one for yourself!

Weekend Getaway!

Ive got an amazing life! Sometimes its hard to be apart, but when Lee got back from being on tour with his band, Picking up Pennies, he surprised me with a trip up the coast!

We started the trip in a plane and jetted up the coast of Cali…and ended up sailing on a hired boat for the weekend!  I had no idea Lee could sail! We met when I ended up being a model for one of their album covers, and have been together ever since.  He is the bassist and one of the vocals for their band and I simply loooove it when he sings to me. He tried to teach me how to do knots and some nautical terms, but admittedly I was a bit distracted by the sun reflecting off his skin…

When we got back…things became even more surreal! Lee PROPOSED! We’ll be married after he finishes his Europe tour next year…I’m so excited!

A Challenge and a giggle!

So i was dared to find some way to be PREGNANT in these pics and I think I may have pulled it off…but you be the judge!  We here at “the League” also know that mothers day is coming up so this is us tippin our hats at all you fashionable mothers out there!Happy Mothers DayMy friend Keripants and I were admiring the beauty of the Mayfair sim where Mon Tissu and Celoe are located….I really highly recommend looking around your surroundings when you are out randomly shopping theres so many details in a lot of our favorite stores you could possibly miss if you dont take the time to explore!  We also enjoyed playing with our Lola Tangos which seems to be the rage these days and what better way to cover these mesh goodies then with Filthy Teese?  I got a chuckle outta wearing the “milf” shirt with the belly and i hope you do too!
