Well Dressed Witch

I don’t go to Diagon Alley in just ANY ole thing, you know!  I have to raise the bar high, you see I am the editor of the magazine “Well-Dressed Witch” and when I go out, I like looking my best as it is kind of in the job description. (as an aside the pic below is me doing my Michael Jackson impression and NOT the “i gotta pee” pose- my publicist is sooo getting fired for that!)  You wont catch ME at the second-hand robe shop, no sirree! The other thing Id like to make notice of is the IN hat this season for the well dressed witch is the new line by Remarkable Oblivion.  I am wearing their Twintail version, hard to get but well worth the search!

A little jaunt to the ocean..

I make the trip out to the coast rarely, but I felt compelled to visit, the pull to feel the fall salt air on my face was too powerful.  I could have gone to any number of spots along the coast, but this time I chose to go to the place that had the boardwalk that went far out to an island.  It was delightful to feel the light spray on my face from time to time as I walked along the weathered planks.

I spent some time feeling the cold, damp walls of the cave on the island.  The rocky floor of the cave was a bit hard to traverse, but I managed to find some beautiful shells I decided to keep as a souvenir and reminder of my visit here.  At one point even though it was a bit damp, I leaned against the wall and closed my eyes and just let the motion of the waves dictate my breathing.  It was quite something feeling like i was making the water move with my breaths…surely you all have at one point faked waving your arm to open automatic doors…it was like that.

Of course the last thing I had to mention was this cute artisan stand I stopped at on the way…where i found these fall leave necklace to match my outfit.  They called themselves Collabor88, and the maker was Maxi Gossamer…they still have some you should definitely go pick up one for yourself!

FPfull with poster1There’s many things on my mind today so I will try to spit them out one at a time.  Most importantly it has come to my attention that a very talented SL content creator has breast cancer.  It brought tears to my eyes to find out Squinternet Larnia owner of Donna Flora is now under home nursing care.  I want to pass on the message from Miamai’s owner and send everyone to the Love Donna Flora‘s site and be sure to pass on your well wishes and keep your eyes open for the event that will be fundraising for her.

The second thing I wanted to tell you all is a reminder that the Fist Pump hunt is still going on and there is plenty of time left to find the dress that I am wearin in the above pic while you are waiting for your next arcade round!  I loved it the minute I put it on! Be sure to go on over to Atooly’s site to find out more bout it!There was a third thing I wanted to say, but in the time I started writing this post til now…well, it like most thoughts I have have vanished into the ether 😛  Today I got to see my Keripants back home safely and this has brought a smile to my otherwise heavy heart.  We all must have some good news to outweigh the bad, yes?

Postcards from the edgeWhile the rest of my Manhattan friends went to the Hamptons like they do EVERY year…I decided to take a road trip up further into upper New England.  Clearly they are missing out on the PERSONALITY of this place, but then again they would prolly have ruined my entire trip by complaining about a lack of room service or 5 star restaurants.  Either way It was a glorious excursion and the locals while not necessarily friendly at first warmed up fast enough.  My only regret was that you could not join me this year, my darling.  I do miss you and hope that work isnt too terribly taxing! Chillin BlogI was imed recently by a lady with some questions about arcade gacha…and we got to talking and I discovered she makes these lovely swimwear and that she also makes awesome lola tango appliers to go along with a lot of them! So I had to get one to show it off to you all and gush heaps of compliments and urge you all to discover her store as well!  Im much impressed! Let me tell you todays blog post was difficult as I really wanted to show off my new miamai floaties as well but there was literally NO WAY to take a pic with these lolas and be on the floatie without looking completely ridiculous! SOooo i gave up and did a pic on the dock instead! enjoy!

Beach Close upFirst of all, might I draw your attention to the absolutely GORGEOUS pier behind me? This waterfront was a beautiful place to take pictures at, and you are able to rez so poseballs for pics should be no problem! I thought this was a well made build and I could stare at the view for hours! I’d also like to point out the word on my lip “love” The lip tattoo and eye makeup was made by my dear friend Gemini Galatea for Blacklace Beauty…she’s been in my life longer than anyone I know in second life because we met prior to that in another game…and yes, I love her sooo much shes like the sis i never had!
